Members are invited—and welcomed—to become active in the Monterey County Branch of AAUW. Here are some tips:

1. Attend our events.
2. Join an Interest Group.
3. Volunteer to coordinate an Interest Group.
4. Participate in program planning and help with the logistics of a program/event.
5. Serve on the Board of Directors.
6. Help recruit new members.
7. Be a “buddy” to a new member.
8. Help with fundraising activities for specific programs.
9. Assist with branch administrative tasks (committees, publicity, telephone trees or mailings).
10. Keep informed about local, state and national issues that affect the mission of AAUW.
