Since 1881, AAUW has dedicated its agenda to increase educational opportunities for women and to bring about a more equitable environment for women of all races, creeds, ages and nationalities. The Educational Foundation (EF) was established in 1958 as a 501(c) 3 charitable foundation to support AAUW’s programs that include Economic Security for Women, Leadership Initiative for Women, Education & Training for Women, and Legal Advocacy.  Gifts to the AAUW Fund are fully tax deductible and are applied to the area of the greatest need.
